Anthony Browne’s books really do epitomise my childhood. You know, those days in primarary school when you would be told to go into the special reading corner/room and pick out a book to read. I used to love ‘Whatever next’ by Jill Murphy, where the little bear goes off to space in a cardboard box. Remember? I loved Anthony Browne’s work though, they are creepy yet reflect humans way of life perfectly  even though they are monkeys and gorillas. It made me think of the 90s as well.
